That's how it started, as I expect it does for so many others.

Having gained some experience renovating our first property I became far more ambitious in our current home, a 1966 detached property.

It has been completely transformed and I have grappled with nearly all aspects of the renovation including re-wiring and re-plumbing, saving ourselves a small fortune in the process.

However, if we'd have had a swear box system in operation it would have been far cheaper to pay for professionals.
