Casting fate to the wind, my Wife and I embarked on a one year back-packing trip in 1998. Truly a voyage of discovery in so many ways. A character building experience with just the right mix of things to enjoy and things to endure. Our zealous itinerary took us to 10 Countries:

Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Christmas in Sydney, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and China.

My values, my outlook, my respect for good automobile suspension, all changed forever. When you've looked a wild croc in the eye, trekked in the footsteps of the incas, taken a shower with a few dozen slimy, crawly things, survived Chinese Public WCs... you feel ready to face anything life can throw at you.
