"THAT'LL DO" WON'T DO
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well. I don't believe in half measures and if I can go the extra inch, I will. I'm very much driven by my inner commitment to quality, accuracy and high standards.

LISTEN BETWEEN THE LINES
When I am being briefed I aim to pick up on what is not said as much as what is said. There's a certain amount of intuition required in interpreting clients' unspoken wishes but the clues are there and, if the results are going to hit the target and be appropriate, they should be taken into account.

STRAIGHT TALKING
We live in a world of buzz words, jargon, baffling acronyms and sometimes gratuitous highfaluting language. I try to adopt a straight forward approach, straight from the heart and straight to the point.

THINKING AHEAD
I am by nature optimistic, always looking ahead and excited by, rather than sceptical of, new ideas. I'm constantly looking for ways to improve things no matter how trivial! The thing is I just can't bear inefficiency.

My friends call me ... well, shall we just say "idiosyncratic"

TRUST & PRIDE
These rate pretty high on the list in my business I think. It's so important to have a good, solid relationship with the client - one that's built on trust and understanding. To have pride in the work I do is not only morally compulsory to me but it's also incredibly motivating. The sense of achievement of a job well done together with client satisfaction are high reward indeed.

When people say to me;
Graphic Design huh?
What is it you do exactly?
I'm tempted to say;

"Well, I carefully balance the skills of communication, technology, psychology and business with incredible visual and emotional sensitivity to achieve effective and appropriate design that will benefit my clients' business and boost their profile"

But I don't. I just say;

"Oh, you know, logos, brochures... that kind of thing"

... I think that's really what they want to know.
